Is it just me or does Bill Maher not like Biden?

.... for a lot of liberals who have a hard time accepting the fact that the left is not infallible.

I don't think he is anti Joe Biden, and often defends him, but it seems he does have some issues of concern.

"When did he defend Biden?" You did not ask when did he defend Biden five times. You did not ask when did he defended Biden 10 times. You asked a question, and I responded with the appropriate answer.

.... was the wrong word to use, but he has defended him more than once. He also defended him when Biden was getting all the crap about the touching accusations. I hope this is satisfactory to you.

Biden can't motivate millennials to come out and vote and that millennials have enough votes to sway the election. The combination of dislike for Trump and a candidate that motivates the younger crowd could be a major factor in determining the winner in November.

a strong progressive Dem woman they would for sure vote for Biden. We are a Center/Left country. You can't always get what you want, but you can get what you need. Many of us want to beat trump and then move forward. We've suffered enough. We can't blow this.

His comments seem to alternate between unique insights and complete cluelessness. I believe that this is because he has more than one joke writer, and their political competence seems to vary. A big clue to what kind of jokes he likes to tell is the name of his previous show, "Politically Incorrect". Maher seems to think that things would be so much better if the world had much more of a live and let live attitude. That is fine. However, he also seems to deeply hate the damage that has been caused by organized religion, so he seems to have no tolerance for that at all. So, his messages seem to be, "Live and let live", "Stop getting offended so easily", and "Organized religion is ruining everyone's life".

One thing i kinda like about him, he never really sucks up to anyone

harping on political correctness constantly, always having to have one or two GOP assholes on his panel, doing veiled slurs against immigrants. I look for him to be praising Trump some time in the future, that's why I quit watching. It used to be something to look forward to on a Friday night, now I need to find a substitute.
