Lucy Flores and Biden. The Daily Beast has viewed corroborating evidence -- correspondence

from years ago. And Senators Elizabeth Warren and Julian Castro say they believe her.

The Daily Beast was able to view correspondence between Flores and another individual discussing the alleged incident in Nevada years prior to the New York Magazine article. The exchange gives credence to Flores’ claim to the extent that it shows it was an incident she talked about before going public this Friday.

Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D) says she believes the account of a former Nevada assemblywoman who said Joe Biden inappropriately touched and kissed her.

“I read the op-ed last night, I believe Lucy Flores, and Joe Biden needs to give an answer,” Warren told reporters at the Heartland Forum in Iowa on Saturday

Presidential hopeful Julián Castro, who previously served in the Obama administration, echoed Warren’s comments at the same event Saturday.

“I believe Lucy Flores,” Castro told reporters. “We need to live in a nation where people can share their truth.”

here is the bottom line, if people think Biden did something wrong and shouldn't be the nominee, then don't vote for him.

It isn't that complicated

Biden gave a response.

Those who don't want Biden will not except his response

They will Never forgive him for Anita Hill. Of course they will ignore that he did block Bork, but that isn't the point.

you don't like him, don't vote for him

3. Yeah, I read it. Lucy Flores says that she was standing just off stage

Mar 2019

and that Biden came up behind her. She didn't say they were alone, so that is a straw man.

Anyone else behind them would have had Biden's body blocking their view of her, because she is much smaller. If his head bent down, so what? It wouldn't register as anything important. If they did notice, they could assume he was just talking to her.

And why would a photographer be back there? The action is about to begin onstage, so photographers would be positioning themselves where they could take pictures there, not in the dark, offstage.

6. Honestly, I don't care. If people don't like Biden, and his touchy feely approach then don't vote

for him.

This is the same piling on that was done with Al Franken, and that's fine. Franken made a decision to resign. No one forced him to, though a lot of Democrats in Congress encouraged him too, it was still his decision.

Biden is NOT going to step down because of this. Frannie is not leaving Al Franken, and Jill is not leaving Joe

As an aside, the organizer was at the event. Were Warren and Castro?

I'm disappointed in both Warren and Castro.

And I wouldn't be surprised if Trump happily quotes them to attack Biden.

Those who for whatever reason don't want Joe Biden, are not going to accept anything he says. Some will never forgive him for his actions at the Clarence Thomas hearing toward Anita Hill, because he didn't afford her additional witnesses, though before that he did successfully stopped Bork, that doesn't matter, nor does it matter that he voted against Thomas.

This is their rationale for not supporting him, and that's fine, and they won't vote for him in the primaries.

Others will have a different view, and we will see what happens, but if those thinking that Biden's hugging and touching approach or his involvement in the Clarence Thomas hearings is going to cause him not to run, I suspect they are going to be disappointed

Castro realizes if Biden comes in, he is even more of a non-factor POTUS candidate than he already is. Again, just My Truth Julian.
