2018 elections, Texas could be in play. If someone could win Texas, Republicans are finished.

2. I don't believe that they released the cross-tabs on this poll.

It was an Internet survey and 538 rates the poll as B/C. The margin of error is also 4.09%.

I think that Biden has a better chance at winning in Texas than Bernie though.

who typically do not turn out to vote. I believe that the sample indicated registered voters rather than likely voters. We'll see if this poll is accurate or an outlier.

AGE. Please indicate your age group.

1. 18-29 10%
2. 30-44 25
3. 45-64 37
4. 65andup 20

35% 44 and under

57% 45 and above.

Only 10% of if was 18-29 but 20% was over 65.

Hope this helps.

I think that somewhat effects the 4.09% MOE claim for the survey.

I haven't seen any evidence of Bernie signs, bumper stickers, etc. and there was one barnstorming event here on MLK weekend. One of the bands in Austin that I follow on Facebook decided that they supported Bernie and they received lukewarm comments. I also follow two Democratic groups on Facebook and there isn't any Bernie surge there either.

I'm thinking that he will pull 7%-8% at this point. Of course, the debates will have a significant effect to see how well he thinks off the cuff.

14. Bernie Sanders Sponsored the Texas Low-Level Radioactive Waste Disposal Compact Consent Act
Sat Feb 15, 2020, 09:11 PM
Feb 2020

I guess Texas is fine about Bernie's sponsorship of a bill to allow nuclear waste from Vermont to be dumped in Texas near a Latino Community:

Texas Low-Level Radioactive Waste Disposal Compact Consent Act - Grants the consent of the Congress to the Texas Low-Level Radioactive Waste Disposal Compact entered into by the States of Maine, Texas, and Vermont. Declares that such consent is granted: (1) subject to the provisions of the Low-Level Radioactive Waste Policy Act; and (2) only for so long as the regional commission established in the Compact complies with all provisions of such Act. Authorizes the Congress to modify or repeal this Act with respect to the Compact after expiration of the ten-year period following the date of enactment of this Act, and at intervals thereafter as provided in the Compact.

Bernie ignored requests by activists from Texas to visit the dumping area to see how they were impacted:
