(13,776 posts)Shes probably the exception, but before this she was firmly, and I mean FIRMLY, in the Bernie can literally do no wrong camp. But Bernies agenda is #2 to her; #1 is getting rid of Trump. Some of Bernies supporters might have that the other way around.

(5,094 posts)Sen Warren - she comes off as a professor to some people - I like that quality in Sen Warren, more of a teacher not someone lecturing me is what I find in Sen Warren. I love the fighting spirit in Sen Sanders.

"Just like Medicare beneficiaries who protest against government health care, protesters who use Canadian care as an example of government interference or rationing, will be surprised to learn that the Canadian health care system relies on both government and private insurers to provide Canadians with comprehensive coverage."

(42,862 posts)Yes, I've seen that type of behavior on FB as well. Very cult-like in their "no-dissent" and "no-criticism" beliefs and loyalty. It seems familiar in a disturbing way, but I can't put my finger on it.

(42,862 posts)It's demeaning. It's lording. It's insulting. It's irritating. I don't blame you for feeling that way. Nobody likes that type of sour and bossy behavior. My entire family feels the same way, and that's just one of the many reasons they give for refusing to support him.
All I'm saying is, it's definitely a weakness and it's not a personality trait that people want in a POTUS. That type of bossiness and aggressiveness does not indicate that dignity and respect will be brought back to the White House. He lacks the temperament and demeanor that people long for.

(42,862 posts)It's something that people do to compensate for other areas in which they may feel inadequate. By being bossy and aggressive (for instance) or by being rude and interrupting (for instance) a person may be able to "take control" of a discussion in such a way that they never have to reveal their lack of knowledge on a particular subject matter. Rather than having a rational discussion, that type of person prefers to bully people into submission.
Haven't we had enough of that already?
