Are there other countries where we put the embassy in a different city than the capital despite what the host country wants?

Also, US law actually says the embassy should be in Jerusalem. The law was passed under Clinton, but it contained a waiver that US presidents could exercise to delay the move, which every president until Trump exercised.

This, right here, is part of why I am supporting him.

He answered the question about Syria. He wanted to finally respond to Sanders assertion that he was not for universal health care. He didn't want the moderators to cut him off for abruptly changing the subject. So he assured them it related to foreign affairs. He quickly said that he was for universal coverage, he just had a different way of getting there. Then he pointed out how Denmark, a country they have both referenced, does not go as far as Sanders when it comes to banning private insurance.

The ability to navigate a situation like that so deftly is exactly what we need in our nominee. Buttigieg has what it takes to defeat Trump.

Steyer: I have always fed the birds,
Klobuchar: My dad and I fed the canary in his coal mine
Biden: I will make China feed the birds
Sanders: Bird food is a human right
Warren: Bloomberg feeds pigeons with his billions
Buttigieg: Bird feeding is a life long passion of mine
Bloomberg: Bird!

Bernie didn’t get challenged much, Warren didn’t pull forward, Amy’s not sounding any more viable, Bloomberg is just sailing along alone, Pete’s still smart but weirdly academic, Joe still seems to think he doesn’t have to do more, and Steyer still Steyer.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
