In SC, you must receive at least 15 percent of the vote total to receive any delegates. At 11:03 pm Eastern time, Bernie was showing 19.8 percent of the vote. I'm hearing that 7 to 9 percent of the total vote was cast by Trump supporters attempting to throw the election, and they all broke for Bernie.

At the low end of the ratfucking scale, subtracting all the GOP crossover votes from Sanders' total leaves him with 12.8 percent of the vote - still in second place, but not enough to take any delegates. If the high end is true, Bernie earned 10.8 percent of the actual vote...which puts him in third place behind Tom Steyer, who received 11.5 percent of the vote.

Lesson repeated: CLOSE YOUR DAMN PRIMARIES, PEOPLE!

By the end of the night, a couple percent might be significant in that context.

My gut tells me it wasn't that high, but I really have no idea. I've thought all along that it was mostly smoke and noise, but Trump fans can be so rabid that I couldn't be 100% sure.

but I haven't seen actual numbers yet. Obviously, it wasn't enough to do much of anything unless Sanders also underperformed significantly with liberals, etc.

Just cast my tactical vote for Bernie Sanders in the #SCprimary2020
#MAGA #Trump2020

I think it might make a difference in Texas.
