Bernie: about 600 delegates
Joe: About 500 delegates
Bloomberg: About 100 delegates
Warren: About 75 delegates
Buttigieg: About 75 delegates
Klobuchar: About 35 delegates

may foolishly stay in and block Joe to a certain extent. Pete will drop out after ST, maybe before, as even though he has beaten Warren and Klobuchar in every state so far, he will not win an entire state on ST, although he may grab a fair amount of district delegates.

As soon as Nevada results started coming in, it was clear that this was a 2-person race with nobody likely to get a majority of pledged delegates.

Buttigieg, Klobuchar and others were never really viable. Putting a ton of resources into IA and NH to appear viable doesn't make one viable. The support (among key constituencies) was simply never there. Nevada (the most representative of the electorate at large of any state that's voted so far) sealed the deal on that reality.

As a practical matter, that’s where the race is even now. I think Bloomberg exits Wednesday. He may not win anywhere Tuesday and doesn’t look like he’s enjoying running for President at all.

16. If Sen. Warren

cannot muster at least a close second in Massachusetts, then she needs to hang it up. And, you forgot Bloomie, he will surely put up second and third place finishes in places where the others simply did not have the money to invest on advertising, and he doesn't need any base of donors to keep going.

Joe Biden will do OK in the southern states (excepting perhaps Texas) but Bernie's probably got a lock on a goodly number of the rest of them. If he can get a 50 percent margin in California, then he will be essentially unstoppable.

I'm hoping that Pete will benefit from having elections in places where being gay is not a problem for Democratic voters, and there are a number of such states on Super Tuesday.

It’s very fluid. One scenario is her being the only one who gets over 15% aside from Bernie.
And if Buttigieg, Klobuchar and Bloomberg drop out, she might have a shot in a three way race.

But realistically, it should be down to Biden vs Sanders on Wednesday.

If I were to vote in a presidential

We shall be left with our elderly, white gentlemen. Their combined ages are greater than the age of our republic, itself.

stay in. We're still months away from the convention, and anything could happen. Once you drop out, you're out.

The three current front-runners are all 80-year-old men, one has already had a heart attack during the campaign, and we are about to get hit hard with the coronavirus. I am praying nothing happens to any of our candidates, but it would be foolish for Warren, Klobuchar or Buttigieg to drop out at this point.
