If A and B are true, then he can see staying in helps Bernie and brings that dreaded socialism closer to reality. Why does he stay in? Entitlement? Ego? Desire?

He may have been liked by New York City voters, but I don't think the country at large cares much for him. He could be spending his money in far better ways for the country. I would expect him to drop out after Super Tuesday.
