Rep. Gil Cisneros (D-CA) endorses Biden

5-tweet thread starting here, full text below:

Today, I’m proud to endorse @JoeBiden for President of the United States. From New Castle County Council to the US Senate to the right-hand man of President Obama, Vice President Biden has proven time & time again he has the experience & temperament to unite our country. (1/5)

He has been a tireless champion for working class Americans, an unwavering advocate for affordable healthcare, and a loyal fighter for our veterans, servicemembers, and their families. (2/5)

Whether it’s taking on the powerful gun lobby or protecting DREAMers across the United States, we can count on Vice President Biden to be a voice that represents our values. (3/5)

My wife and I were honored to support his ‘It’s On Us’ campaign, to end sexual assault and violence on college campuses, and I am honored to stand with him once again. (4/5)

Residents in #CA39 deserve a President who will put their needs first and work with Democrats and Republicans in Congress to get things done. Come November, I believe Vice President Biden will beat Donald Trump and become the 46th President of the United States. (5/5)
If I were to vote in a presidential

People often say that endorsements don't affect people's votes, but this time, a lot of people are on the fence as to who they should vote for. The candidate with a lot of impressive endorsements could be reassuring to the undecided voters. The primary criteria for most voters right now is defeating Donald Trump.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
