(1,165 posts)I posted a statement saying it appeared they were in cahoots the other day and got flagged as "kooky." The overwhelming impact of Bloomberg is to take votes from Biden. He takes votes from Sanders as well, but Sanders isn't struggling to reach 15% in California.

(15,512 posts)Bloomberg will probably get about 3% tomorrow, maybe 4% nationwide, from New Yorkers who would otherwise vote for Sanders. Unless I'm missing something ...

(6,473 posts)they would definitely vote for Biden and even Bloomberg if he emerged in the moderate wing-now that the party is uniting behind Biden on the moderate wing, those people are likely to line up behind him very quickly because they want a moderate Democrat to win. But even last week I was considering alternatives if Joe stumbled in South Carolina-I bet there were a bunch just like me

(13,057 posts)with a passion and he will do whatever he can to make sure that Trump loses. I just don't see him acting as a stalking horse for Bernie Sanders. But that doesn't mean of course that he might not take some votes away from Biden.

(5,005 posts)if he does not win he would keep all of his offices open for the nominee plus spend money to help with all of the candidates except Bernie. He said that is because Bernie said he did not want his help.
