Former Vice President Joe Biden assured rich donors at a ritzy New York fundraiser that nothing would fundamentally change if he is elected.
Biden told donors at an event at the Carlyle Hotel in Manhattan on Tuesday evening that he would not demonize the rich and promised that no ones standard of living will change, nothing would fundamentally change, Bloomberg News reported.
.......
Biden went on to say that the rich should not be blamed for income inequality, pleading to the donors, I need you very badly.
I hope if I win this nomination, I wont let you down. I promise you, he added.

But You didn't mention he said:
Biden said that poverty was the one thing that can bring this country down and listed several new programs to help the poor that he would fund if elected.
We have all the money we need to do it, he said.
He is saying the same thing as Bernie just not demonizing people in the process. Something we don't have to do.

(34 posts)Like it or not, he would need the "establishment" Democrats to get any of his agenda
done.
Yet he and his surrogates are adopting the brilliant strategy of insulting and demonizing
them and treating them as the enemy, and burning as many bridges as they can as
quickly as they can.
This is among the reasons that I could never support him as a nominee. No sense of
strategy, no acceptance of the reality we live in. Only an ideological purity that is good
for stirring up the emotions of his followers, but nothing else--like getting elected, and
getting anything done.
Does anyone really think that if, by some miracle, Sanders were elected President, that
these "evil" rich donors are going to fall to their knees in obeisance to him and his followers,
and just go away?
