I don't expect early results will be good in Calif for Joe when polls close tonight

Last edited Tue Mar 3, 2020, 09:44 AM - Edit history (1)

but you have to remember that a lot of states have early voting, which took place well before the SC results were known, all the endorsements and the great media Joe' been getting since Saturday night.

So, the way I look at it from the point of view of a Biden supporter, is that when the first results come in that will be the worst case scenario for Biden and that after that it will continue to improve, perhaps for days. I am particularly thinking of California which took about a week to count all its votes in 2016. Of course, not as many will vote in a primary, but it will take at least a few days before we really know the Ca results.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

But I imagine that tonight they will at least have some results from early voting. The thing is, Cal is so big and diverse I doubt anyone will be able to figure out what it means.

The ballots are often handcounted, and with millions and millions voting, it took them nearly a month for full results. It was late November and they were still calling races.

All the US needs to do is scale up. The UK is 5 times smaller than the US in pops (and also has 27 million more than California), and with 330 million Americans, surely they can find the competent numbers.
