Warren pitches herself as new center of Democratic Party

Elizabeth Warren usually pushes back on the idea of political lanes, but with a narrowing field on the eve of Super Tuesday, she was making the case that she's the compromise candidate in the Democratic Party.

Noting that "the field has now narrowed sharply," with the moderates aligned on one side, Warren argued that their policies are not the ones the country wants.

"I think that what we've seen so far is that the Democratic Party is a progressive party," she told Lemon. "Progressive ideas are popular."

"We need someone who's going to get those progressive ideas done," she said. "And that's the reason I'm in this race."

moderate Dems were fine with pushing that spin.

She is an accountable capitalist in a political system that rewards those who will either protect the status quo or someone who only yammers about accountability but has been ineffective on his own for 3 decades.

Warren is the ONLY enemy to the financial industry’s corrupt rulers.

Who owns the lion’s share of the media?

no compromise means more division within our party when we need unity. Protesting at the convention. Or worse, like not voting for the Dem nominee in key swing states.

While her claim of being the "center" is not very persuasive, she definitely has a niche between Biden and Sanders. Not as an ally to either, but an alternative to both.

I just hope it's not too late to make a difference in her campaign. Even though she is not my choice, I think she makes a positive, and potentially unifying, contribution by remaining in the race. She is a potential bridge between the center and the left.

Her shot was to get Sanders voters. Her refusal to go after him cost her badly.

Texas is a three person race. And Warren is fourth.

Sorry, but she is not the compromise candidate.
