Anybody else see the differences between Bernie and Joe's speeches?

Bernie spent most of his time taking thinly-veiled shots at Biden.

Biden used his entire speech to talk about hope, and knocking Trump out of the White House.

I think that says everything.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Any difference is because you are an "enemy" of the people because only Sanders can carry the mantle of the working man.

Congressman Clyburn? Must be a corporate stooge, what is wrong with him?

For about 10 minutes tonight Bernie egged his crowd on by saying things like

"we need a candidate who protects consumers not someone who voted with credit card companies for high interest rates"

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

over and over and over again. were you not aware that he was referring to Biden?

On Saturday when Sanders "congratulated" Biden's landslide victory he mentioned Biden's name twice and there were loud boos both times. Sanders did not chide the crowd.

I don't know what is more pathetic, that Sanders is intending to demonize political leaders in the party he visits and exploits for his personal interests or whether his supporters will excuse any of his bad acts regardless how it damages party unity. Senator Sanders (I) Vermont has always had a disparaging opinion of the Democratic Party and his devotees will accept his acrimonious, angry and bitter diatribes as acceptable fratricide. Sanders doesn't know the meaning of comity.

Biden just took the lead in Texas.

To Bernie’s screaming and anger. It drives me crazy. But, on the flip side I cringe when Biden is speaking, waiting for a gaffe. But, I’m always pulling for Biden to make it through, so there’s that. Go Joe!

I can’t stand Sanders scowling anger.

I can’t handle Biden’s yelling into the mic and muffles his own lines. He’s much better when he slows down and speaks calmly.

Sanders is more concerned with taking out the Democratic party than he is taking out Trump.

49. Biden's speech was heavy on how Democrats and Republicans can work together.
Wed Mar 4, 2020, 12:35 AM
Mar 2020

That is a complete fantasy. If President Obama - a far superior politician to Joe Biden - was unable to bridge the gap with today's Republicans, it's a complete fantasy to imagine that President Biden can do it.

So while the speeches were different, Biden's message was largely delusional. No Democratic president is going to sway Trump's base (the Tea Party basically) to adopt the Democratic point of view, no matter how centrist they are.

He has never had one. His pie in the sky ideas will never get enough support from Congress to pass. His supporters gloss over that. Our system of government is based on compromise.

Couldnt say about bernies speach. Wasnt listening.

I caught Bidens. It was pretty well crafted, and when combined with the exuberant media narrative of the night praising his "unexpected victories" and ignoring Texas and California and the year or so that he spent polling as top candidate, It felt like the beginning of the end for the Sanders campaign.

But he made a point to throw his little digs at Bernies campaign. So if I accept your version of Bernies speach, then i have to say there is no difference.

We need unity... not a grumpy ol' man that seemingly bashes the dem establishment at every turn.

So according to NPR we Democratic voters have a choice between a socialist who wants to give out "free stuff"or a guy who is losing his mental acuity. I think they are in the bag for Trump.
