(1,584 posts)Then support the nominee, who is most likely Biden.
I am going to focus on the House and Senate moving forward.

(13,412 posts)I much prefer Bernies policies and positions over Bidens largely leave things alone approach.
However, I much prefer Biden as a candidate and a person who does not repel potential voters.
Neither is perfect so I will leave it up to the voters and then I will vote Team Blue in November.

(11,982 posts)Biden if Warren endorses Biden, and Sanders if Warren endorses Sanders. In part because I'm hoping she'll be VP (or at least high in the next president's administration), and I think she'll more likely find herself there with a candidate she endorses rather than one she does not.

(2,015 posts)If she drops, I will work like mad to get Sanders elected. While he doesn't have the detailed plans or her track record of effectiveness, his policies are in the right place. With any luck, there might be a Sanders/Warren ticket, though I wouldn't hold my breath.
Being real for a minute, 2020 has to be about the legislative races as well. Neither Bernie nor Biden will get anywhere with the current Thuglicans leading the Senate or House. They'll do everything in their power to destroy. Either of the Bs would be a huge improvement over Dump. But I also call BS on the scared trope that Bernie will be as disaster for the downballot. I want a POTUS who will be working for Medicare for All, making college affordable, paying people a living wage, and clipping the wings of the richest people and corporations in this country.
