(102,203 posts)She only meets the one criteria that would have gotten her on the stage in February, but that is only after NH, NV and IA. She doesn't meet the poll criteria from February either.

(47,465 posts)Under the most recent rules, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii may have qualified for the next televised debate by snagging a delegate in American Samoa's primary.
Later on Tuesday night, a DNC official said the delegate threshold "will go up" to qualify for future debates.
Gabbard is the fifth major candidate remaining in the race despite not qualifying for the debate stage recently and failing to crack the top five in any of the first four states.

(102,203 posts)The odds that the criteria won't tighten are zero and none.
One would assume they would tighten since the last criteria/debate were based on post-Iowa, NH, and NV only. After Super Tuesday and following 7 more primaries on the 10th, including MI and WA, I can't believe they would allow someone with no polling and only 1 delegate qualify. With all due respect to American Samoa, those 175 voters that weighed in, don't exactly make the case.
