Sanders embraces the Establishment

fter seriously underperforming on Super Tuesday, Bernie Sanders is out with a new ad that appears to shift his message from bashing “the establishment” to embracing it.

About how he's been more of a dealmaker/compromiser in the House and Senate than his campaign would have you believe. For example, he voted for the ACA despite being in favor of single payer, because he felt it was better than not passing anything. But he doesn't like to start out in a compromise position or concede anything until it's clear he won't get what he wants. So he downplayed his ability to compromise in his campaign. Interesting article - you should give it a read.

He's certainly not changing his mind or embracing compromise. He's pandering big time hoping that he can attract votes from people of color and older voters. He's insulted the Democratic party for years now while glomming on to use the fruits of their base's labor. No reason to trust him now. Trust has to be earned, like respect.
