And he has very deep pockets. Plus - added bonus - DJT is scared shitless of him!

I know this is mostly a repeat of other posts I've made, but...

Most people don't make it past the word billionaire or the negative media reports. He has no doubt said and done some abhorrent things, but he's also donated $6.5 billion to charity and committed to donate the rest in the coming years, helped flip the House and donated millions to Democratic causes in 2018, and could very well help a campaign whose primary issue is probably funding compete successfully in November. If he helps defeat Trump, that's pretty difficult to put a value on.

People are complex. Just because someone's an asshole doesn't mean that they're without some redeeming traits*, and what he's done and has committed to counterbalances some of the negative. Not so much that I'd want him as the nominee or president, but enough to consider him a current ally on some pretty important things.

*Except for Trump. And Cheney. And McConnell. Well, you get the idea.

I would make him UN Ambassador. He would love the job and it would be a fitting job for the former mayor of New York.

And that is exactly correct. As you said, it doesn't excuse it in the least, but wow, was it prevalent. I'm sometimes surprised at how far we've come (and what people used to get away with), though we still have a very long way to go.

UN Ambassador works.

The sexual banter was always there . Bloomberg was never accused of quid pro quo sexual harassment. That was always monster territory.
