If she drops out and endorses Sanders, some of her supporters will be understandably disappointed because of the way she's been treated by Sanders and his supporters. I expect that she will anyway.

If she drops out and endorses Biden, some Sanders supporters will attack her relentlessly and call her a sellout. Oh, wait, they're doing that already. I think her supporters would be split on the decision, though I'm not sure which way they'd lean. On DU, it seems that they'd prefer that she endorse Biden, but I don't have data to back that up.

She could drop out and not endorse, but I don't see that happening.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

If she has decided that there is no path for her to become the nominee, then the only thing left is to help Joe. BS is too divisive and will accomplish nothing.

Which helps Joe the most, staying in or suspending and endorsing?

If she doesn't, Joe Kennedy will primary her and win, pointing to her not supporting a Democrat.

Maybe she should figure out a way to stay neutral. Given Bernie’s showing last night, an alliance with him seems like a bad idea. He got a shellacking and I don’t see it getting better for him. It would be like buying a ticket for the Titanic after it hit the iceberg.

withdraw and stay neutral until such time as the nominee is confirmed, either by reaching the threshold or at the convention.

I think she risks her standing, and possibly even her Senate seat (although people’s memories are short), if she were to endorse early either way.

A good number of her supporters are feminists who wanted to see a woman nominee, and they will be infuriated if she endorses Bernie. Others are M4A enthusiasts who would excommunicate her if she were to endorse Biden.

She also has her Senate career to consider: her stature and appointments in the Senate could possibly hang in the balance.

I like the idea of the tension between the Biden and Warren brands. Find common ground with real measures to tackle income inequality and lift all Americans into the modern era ready to face challenges of climate change, etc.

She could maybe help Bernie ground himself in real numbers and make it easier for everyday folks like me to pushback at the socialist word games that will be troublesome in the GE.

But, imo, the Biden ticket would be stronger electorally. Would rather she wait til after the next primary to take another read of the landscape. I get how her calculus on all of this is extraordinary, and know that I can’t see all that she’s seen.
