Hillary Clinton Basically Endorses Biden After Vowing to Stay Neutral

“I’m not planning to endorse,” Hillary Clinton told NPR on Super Tuesday. But after Joe Biden’s better-than-expected performance with voters, she practically did just that during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Wednesday night.

Clinton began by explaining the importance of Super Tuesday to Jimmy Fallon. “It’s the first time that the real diversity of our country is going to go out and vote and then that vote will have a big impact on the outcome, as we saw last night with Joe Biden.”

Asked by the host what she thought of Biden’s success, Clinton said, “Look, I thought it was very exciting because starting in South Carolina, he had so much energy and what he had to say was, you know, really enthusiastic and positive and about what he was going to do and who he was, and the people of South Carolina, obviously, rewarded that. And then, that kind of set off this momentum. And it carried him.”

She added that Biden “won all but, I guess, three states,” either forgetting one of the three states—Colorado, Utah and Vermont—that Bernie Sanders won decisively or neglecting to award him California before the vote count is finalized there.

Then in the article she "either forgot... or was neglectful..."

I try to stick with to the headline used for the articles, but I agree that the article portrays Clinton in a less favorable perspective.

14. Yeah. And even is she were to endorse Biden, when did she ever VOW not to endorse?

Headline looks like fiction from start to finish.

The only thing she did wrong in that clip was describing the across-the-country aspect of Super Tuesday as being from Massachusetts to California. Looking at a map, the geographic end-points would be that it went from Maine to California. So unless maybe a Maine resident wants to complain about being slighted, her comment was, as the stable genius might say, "perfect."

What she said is not any different from what any newsreader/tv news person said. Are they all endorsing Biden too? Is that the messaging?

All the angst and hand-wringing and anger and bitterness we're observing from many voters is simply because they can't handle the truth and don't want to hear the truth. Anyone who dares to speak the truth is someone who (apparently) "has an agenda".

8. The "race" to the nomination is essentially over, so it's appropriate for Hillary to stump for Joe.

Let's face it, it's almost mathematically impossible for Bernie going forward, so as they say in business - you either lead, follow or get out of the way. It's clear Bernie didn't succeed in leading, so it's time for him to follow, i.e. suspend his campaign & throw his support behind Biden, or just quit and go away quietly. He is just too divisive. There is no longer a viable for him. Time to close shop and help unite the party, and the country.
