Joe Biden probably just won the Iowa Caucus...

Remember, NO DELEGATES WERE awarded on Caucus night. The measure you heard about was “State Delegate EQUIVALENTS”, an estimated figure. Actually, delegates to a County Caucus were awarded. They will select delegates to Congressional District Caucuses and eventually a Statewide COnvention who will select delegates for Milwaukee. Those local delegates for Buttigieg and Klobuchar will likely convert to Biden delegates over the course of the Statewide process, added to the delegates he won in the first place.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Since 1984, I've been a part of this multistage, multijurisdictional process in Iowa. The older I get, the more exhausting it is. These events cost the IDP precious resources that might be better used for candidate support, GOTV efforts, and such things. It also limits participation to a small subset of the electorate whose lives afford the opportunity to attend a 2-3 hour caucus on a Monday night in the dead of winter..

GET RID OF IT!!!

Election Reforms:

Paper Ballots
Longer windows of time to allow for voting
Make sure all legit votes are counted
Get rid of caucuses
Presidential Elections .... 6 months beginning to end .... soup to nuts .... 2 1/2 years is just too damn long
Get rid of the electoral college
End Gerrymandering
No more voter I.D. laws .... nobody is voting twice
Get rid of interstate cross check
Get rid of electronic voting machines
Severe Penalties for working with foreign governments and or agents in our elections
Stop voter purges
Get rid of Citizen's United ... get the dark money out of the system

In 2016 McConnell knew the fix was in ... see Merrick Garland
