He has called the Democratic Party, it’s members, supporters, and programs “establishment” one time too many.

No one likes to be continually scolded. Especially when it’s not deserved. We are not the enemy.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Don't make him the enemy, either.

I agree with Rachel, that in the end, we really are wanting almost all of the same things.

Trashing? Or constructive criticism?
Trashing. Yes... definitely trashing and denigrating and lying. There's nothing at all "constructive" with the constant bombardment of lies and insults and denigration of Democrats and the Democratic party.

It's NOT TRUE that Democrats are "ideologically bankrupt". It's NOT TRUE that Democrats are "feeble". It's NOT TRUE that Democrats are "corrupt". It's NOT TRUE that the Democratic party is an "absolute failure". It's NOT TRUE that the Democratic party is "the party of the one-percent". It's NOT TRUE that the Democratic party is the "party of the elite". It's NOT TRUE that there's "no difference between Democrats and Republicans." It's NOT TRUE that Democrats are "do-nothings". It's NOT TRUE that the Democratic party "doesn't care about climate change." It's NOT TRUE that the Democrats "focus too much" on diversity. It's also NOT TRUE that people who the refuse to vote for an African-American because of his skin color "aren't racists". It's also NOT TRUE that the Democrats who "are very big into diversity" aren't "particularly sympathetic" to the working class.

Don't make him the enemy, either.
Those are not benign "constructive criticism" comments. Those are toxic and damaging. People who attack with the intent to harm are in my mind an enemy. There's NO EXCUSE for that type of venomous rhetoric.

It serves NO good purpose for anyone to say and do things that are so destructive and so divisive. Things like that only serve to weaken our party and make us distrustful and suspicious. It drives down voter participation. It give NOBODY any motivation to support Democrats if a high profile person like that is telling everyone that there's "no difference" and "Democrats are corrupt"

we really are wanting almost all of the same things.
No. We don't want the same things. I don't want the Democratic party to be weakened. I don't want the Democratic party to be converted into the Socialist party. I don't want the Democratic party to be "destroyed" and razed and burned down so that it can be "rebuilt" as the Berniecrat party.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I gotta agree.

Though I don't think this party would ever become the Berniecrat party.

He has called the Democratic Party, it’s members, supporters, and programs “establishment” one time too many.
Well... there's "establishment" and... "corrupt", "feeble", "bought", "the party of the one percent", "the party of the elite", "no different than the GOP", "the same as the GOP", "an absolute failure", "do-nothings", "not caring about climate change", "focused too much on diversity", "unsympathetic to the working class".

If he wants to votes from Democrats, and if he wants to lead our party... Where's the apology and retraction? Has he disavowed being a Socialist? Has he permanently joined the Democratic party? Will he finally admit that when someone refuses to vote for an AA because of their skin color then that person IS INDEED, a RACIST?? Will he apologize for this back-handed defense of, or passive-acceptance of, racism?

I'm just sick of it.

FDR offered people reassurances and hope. Bernie only offers anger and fear. There is a reason why the mood quickly shifted and coalesced around Biden. It's a shame that you can't see that.
