I’m actually writing a paper on “The Female Hero’s Journey.” It’s tremendously different in terms of goals, impediments and desired results. We think of fierce women all too often being better men than men are. We are so alike in some ways, so different in others. I’d sure like to see us valued the same.

I was really hoping she'd stay and fight for just a little longer. I think she could have shined on a debate stage with just Bernie and Biden and made a bit of a comeback. But I can't say I'm surprised.
