Or in the hopefully "new" Senate at least Chair of Finance Committee.

I expected her to win. I think Bernie’s early lead spooked a lot of the electorate. I know I wasn’t looking forward to explaining the nuances of socialism when this election should be a referendum on Trump.

Warren has fire, intelligence, wit and charm. She will still be a very effective senator, and hopefully Joe’s VP.

I've been lurking at DU for decades. This is the first time I actually felt compelled to sign up, and log in to make a statement. I live in New Mexico and it has always been a fact of life that by the time we have our primary it's all over but the balloon drop. I still was looking forward with fingers crossed to the possibility of voting for Elizabeth Warren for President. I am more disappointed than I have been since 2016. All I can say now is that she had better get a Very Important job in Joe's administration!

Can you imagine a VP debate between her and Mike Pence?

I started to chuckle. She'd Bloomberg him.

This woman took on a very successful guy who had spent half a billion dollars in campaign ads to get on that debate stage and destroyed his campaign in minutes.

Elizabeth is my favorite advocate for the unfortunate.

She has so many good qualities.

I hope she will find a way to stay engaged. I expect she will.

This won't be the last time I'll be disappointed either. I felt this with Gary Hart (who knew?) and John Kerry (who got screwed a different way). 2016 was, and still is, a nightmare that Freddy Krueger couldn't imagine.

Now my biggest fear is that DU's Undecided has gone from 42% up to 59% in a couple of hours.

People, don't f*** up this time. We need to pull together and show up. Was I the only one with a contingency plan?

She was my preferred candidate and I'm sorry to see her go. Her campaign just never took off and I bet Wall Street is breathing a big sigh of relief. Hopefully, SOMEONE, be it Biden or Sanders, will hold Wall Street's feet to the fire. I hate to say it, but I don't think Biden will do that.

We know you well enough by now to be CERTAIN that you will continue the work, every single day, to lift up those of us who have been left out of the "American Dream." You have set the vision and the goals, and we'll continue to work with you to achieve them.

In my opinion, you have not "lost", because what you have so clearly articulated has permeated the hearts and minds of democrats from every nook and cranny. Thank you for YOU!!

I'm leaving my status as undecided because I'm voting for the Democrat in November, no matter who he is.

I just hope I live to see a female president. Two of my female friends have passed away since the 2018 midterm election. I'm beginning to think I won't see it happen in my lifetime.
