BIG push--Senate Majority Leader Warren.

Joe tweeted that he looks forward to Warren being a force in the Senate. My new dream—flip the Senate and she becomes Majority Leader. That and having a woman VP would make this a whole lot better!

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

It is unlikely that anyone under 60 would be appointed.

He hasn’t been all that great anyways. And when Nancy steps down, Schiff can take her spot as Speaker.

That would be SO awesome! I'd love to see Obama on the USSC but not sure he'd take that job.

Edit: Joe did say he wanted a woman of color on the USSC and I'm all for that too.

Senators support a person who maneuvers and manages the members in the background. Someone they believe knows and can manipulate the rules to favor their party's preferred position. Someone they think is a good "horse trader". Someone they think has the Senate knowledge to come out on top in negotiations with the leader of the other party.

They never seem to think of how compelling the person is to the American people when on video or how talented the person is in using media.

Our guys are playing by the old rules. McConnell threw that rule book out completely when he blockaded Merrick Garland. He's been making up the rules ever since. Our guys have developed no strategy at all to counter McConnell's nihilism.

They need to counter with a person who can make new rules to our benefit. I suggest they look, not only for smarts but someone with a huge dose of charisma. A persuasive, compelling person who is willing to be ruthless in dealing with and publicly shaming and coercing McConnell is what is needed, imo.

The best person may indeed be Elizabeth Warren.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
