That is, BS claiming a big California win - has a lot of spin, . . . on it.

(42,862 posts)The praising of Castro/Cuban Revolution AND his keeping secret the fact that Russia was helping him were two big mistakes. He could have walked-back his praise of Castro and the Cuban Revolution, but he didn't. He could have come right out and openly let people know that Russia was trying to influence things in favor of his campaign... but he didn't.

(8,144 posts)he is perceived.
Endorsers commonly speak to his potential to unify and heal the country, to his decency, character,
moral leadership, heart...To a person they list these ideal leadership qualities they identify in Biden. I mean this is what they seeor perhaps what they think they can sell.
Bernie gets pegged as a fighter. Where is the emotional and moral dimension though? Anyone ever said he is optimistic? That he is empathetic?
These are of course feel good, happy leader/ warrior descriptions that many can call pablum. But some say this is the sweet stuff Americans like.
Bernie is painting Biden as a hawk who wants to rob seniors and Trump tries to portray him as corrupt.
Then Biden smiles, does his this is America routine and attacks roll off him.
Many factors will figure in when we look back at how Biden won, if indeed he does. Personality will
turn out to have been at least a part of the formula.
Castro, Russia whatever. Bernie needs to smile more and scowl less.
