(11,605 posts)Because Biden already has the whole thing wrapped up and shouldn't even waste his time campaigning in primary states or debating with Bernie. If they are right then voting in the primary at all is a waste of time unless there are other races on the ballot with competitive primaries.
I have a feeling by the time my state votes a vote for Bernie will basically be a protest vote anyway, so I may as well vote for the candidate I really wanted.

(11,605 posts)I don't vote until April 28 but I am considering doing the same if she's still on the ballot.
Otherwise I'll probably vote for Bernie, which I also consider a protest vote of a different kind at this point. I don't agree with his anti-establishment rhetoric entirely, but I am a little annoyed that so many candidates dropped out before Super Tuesday and left us so few choices, and it would be crazy to think there was no coordination/strings pulling to make that happen. And at the end of the day, I'm not as progressive as Bernie, but his views are closer to where I stand than Biden's are. Plus, assuming Biden has the lead at that point, a vote for Bernie is a protest against the push to "wrap it up" before everyone gets a chance to vote.
