Biden outperforming Sanders in counties with lower income

A pattern consistent with the 2016 primaries, in which Sanders's support skewed richer than average, but Biden interestingly also does better among poor whites than Sanders; that was a piece of the puzzle Clinton never had.

Counties with high unemployment support Biden much more strongly than Sanders. Counties with lower average educational attainment support Biden more strongly than Sanders. Counties with lower rates of health insurance support Biden more strongly than Sanders. Biden beats Sanders in counties with low average income, whereas Sanders is most competitive in rich counties.

At some point in the fight for the working class, one of the steps should probably be "listen to them".

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

how the middle class pays for their health care. Not that they don't have preferences, just in the triage of things that's not an immediate concern.

People can drone on and on about plagiarism but the demographic that is most important for the general election does not give a rat's ass about "plagiarism" or about intellectualism. They are going to care a lot more that Joe has a cherished vintage Corvette and that he loves his family and gets by on his salary. Joe is "One of Us"
