Al Franken on the ACA and "single payer". He said he spoke to Sanders and said:

"Bernie, I'll join you on single-payer, but we're 58 votes short."

Interesting interview on Chris Cuomo's show right now.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

The only bad thing about Franken becoming a senator was losing a favorite comedian.

By the way, George, you can see I've switched to Biden...I never thought I would, but between he and Bernie, I'm thinking Biden has a better chance of beating Trump.

It's just so odd...well, getting rid of Trump is Job 1. Bottom line. We can bicker afterwards.

When Cuomo was saying "he has never expressed any flexibility about it," Franken came back and said:

Look, I was there for the ACA when we legislated that. Bernie didn't get what he wanted, but he not only voted for it, but he did Community Health Centers. That was a big contribution to that.

among other things.
