Biden missed a DC area fundraiser tonight, had to be elsewhere for a major endorsement TBA soon

Lots of speculation in the replies here...







NEW: @JoeBiden missed a major Washington, DC area fundraiser in person (don’t tell @RufusGifford) because he said he had to be elesewhere for a “major endorsement to be announced soon.”

Because he’s a gentleman, he did call into the fundraiser.

My guess is Jay Insley, that indeed would be big coming on the heels of Whitmer endorsing. Also, Insley is a big and proven progressive that punches every button Sanders claim ownership of ($15 wage, climate, gun control, fighting income inequality).

only endorse prior to the nomination being settled if it looks like that might be the only way to stop Bernie. But now it doesn't look like that will be necessary. So I think he will only offer his endorsement once the nomination is mathematically clinched, or until one of the two remaining candidates drops out, but not before.
