Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumJust watched an all-Obama ad for Sanders
It's literally a bunch of Obama quotes from past Bernie praise. It concludes will a full screen video of Obama saying "feel the Bern." It's clearly trying to imply Obama is behind Sanders in the primary.
Amazingly deceptive.
Here it is with CNN talking about it.

(111,322 posts)the establishment is bad, yada yada.
I've been told the same old scapegoat shit for more than thirty years. It didn't faze me then, and it doesn't faze me now. Not only do corporations provide the bulk of jobs in this country, but if you are employed by a corporation then you are more likely to earn higher wages and not get laid off in an economic downturn when compared to small businesses.

(25,140 posts)Bernie: "The business model, if you like, of the Democratic Party for the last 15 years or so has been a failure. People sometimes don't see that because there was a charismatic individual named Barack Obama. He was obviously an extraordinary candidate, brilliant guy, but beyond that reality... ."

(1,089 posts)reportedly quietly pulled a few strings in the background to help winnow an overcrowded field but he's trying real hard to keep a low public profile during the primaries and not tip the scales for either side. This makes sense...let Democrats decide who they want to be their nominee and then come out afterward and try to unify the party...smooth some ruffled feathers on whichever side gets bested.
But if Bernie keeps pulling this deceptive shit he may force Obama's hand before he'd like to and I'm pretty sure who Barack would endorse. He didn't pick Sanders to be his VP...he chose Biden.
Ironic that Sanders is now releasing campaign ads showing Obama's arm draped around Bernie's back...when in 2012 Sanders had to be talked outta stabbing Obama in HIS.
