(3,695 posts)Has anyone at DU noticed any physical problems? It pisses me off that both the Bernie and Trump camps are lodging attacks on Biden about his health and cognition. Especially when Bernie won't release his medical records or at least his ejection fraction, a measure of heart strength. It's looks like projection to me.

(39 posts)I wouldnt be surprised to see BS, in the next debate, get increasingly irate about Bidens health only to end up clutching his chest, like something out of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

(39 posts)Unlike the Sanders' campaign's frankly deplorable new focus on linking arms with Trump and insinuating that Biden is suffering from dementia.

(39 posts)Unless he doesnt have anything to do with this stuff, doesnt know a thing, in which case you have to question his capacity for doing much more than holding rallies. Based on the past week, much of the evidence available too is suggests hes either too naive for the Presidency or too Trumpy.

I am so not a Sanders fan but that shit is OTT. Not okay at all.

(39 posts)of the campaign of someone who suffered a severe heart attack a few months ago leaning into far-right bullshit about Biden having dementia.

(42,862 posts)#1 Indicator for your Overall Health is POSTURE?!
IT'S POSTURE?!
(Did you just sit up a little straighter? Yeah, everyone does that.)
How you sit, stand, move directly affects your potential for good health and functional fitness. Every system, muscle, cell, and organ in your body requires x amount of space to function optimally. When that space is reduced by slouchy posture, cramped by sitting all day, or compromised by repetitive stress patterns then those systems, muscles, cells, and organs cant function properly. So yes, sitting up straighter, or standing taller are both great places to start.
Picture
Muscular System - Muscle length and relative balance is compromised resulting in tension, chronic pain, and/or injuries.
Respiratory System - When the upper body rounds (think mom shoulders or working on your laptop) the amount of oxygen your lungs can take in is reduced because the lungs dont have as much space to expand.
Digestive & Urinary Tracts - Less space for your stomach or your intestines to operate can wreak havoc on your overall digestion and bladder function.
Adrenal & Reproductive Hormones - There are studies showing a correlation between hormonal imbalances and poor posture that lead to emotional issues, increased stress, and mood disturbances.

(102,220 posts)I don't think I can do this any longer. This is shameful. (Not just this, but the whole "cast Joe as demented" campaign)
I'm done with Sanders. And since 2016 (and before, I would have been able to support him had he prevailed without hesitation). His people, but apparently blessed by Sanders himself, are engaged in inciting civil war within the party and using the most disgusting and dishonest methods. I guess we know where they learned it from (and it wasn't another Democratic campaign).

(5,969 posts)I'm wondering, has there ever been a democratic candidate in the recent contests who not only lied and distorted as much as BS but who also chose to make despicable insinuations like this? I don't think so as the Dem candidates had more class and weren't as desperate. Then again, BS isn't a Democrat. It's the BS campaign and some of their followers who are so rotten that they are pushing the dementia nonsense in tandem with the Trump campaign and the Maggats. They form a special basket of deplorables.
We already have a Pres who lies 24/7. Replacing him with another demagogue would be a disaster.
