The only question is, how big a loss it will be for him. The thing is, Biden's lead has only been going up as they count more votes. This makes me think that if Biden's lead does shrink, it will not be by much.

That would put him in the lead for delegates if Warren and Mayor Pete stayed in the race for a while. It's why he was quick to say that the person with the most delegates should get the nomination. This is of course a reversal of what he wanted in 2016 with Hillary. He got screwed when Pete and Amy dropped out before Super Tuesday allowing Biden to gain the lead in delegates. He never expected that to happen.
