Kamala Harris to campaign with Biden on Monday in Detroit

California Sen. Kamala Harris will campaign in Michigan for Joe Biden on Monday, appearing with him at a 7 p.m. rally at Renaissance High School.

The event is open to the public, and people are being asked to RSVP here.

The campaign rally is occurring on the eve of Michigan’s presidential primary, which has developed into a two-man race between Biden and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Harris endorsed Joe Biden on Sunday and said she would "do everything in my power'' to help elect him, becoming the latest dropout from the Democratic race for president to line up behind the former vice president.

Her endorsement further solidifies the Democratic establishment’s move to consolidate around Biden, who has been endorsed by a number of prominent Michigan Democrats in recent days, including Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, former Gov. Jennifer Granholm; former U.S. Sen. Carl Levin; U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens, D-Rochester Hills; U.S. Rep. Elissa Slotkin, D-Holly; U.S. Rep. Brenda Lawrence, D-Southfield; State House Democratic Leader Christine Greig, and the United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 876 and 951 in Michigan./b]

Kamala Harris is a far more prominent and influential figure on the national political scene than Rosa Parks' niece.

closer...I certainly would love to be there and hear and see that one! Awesome...She was my first pick back when...I think Biden will definitely have a spot in his cabinet for her or she will maybe be our next DOJ...she would definitely go after all the corruption...
