Question for Undecideds

I keep seeing posts by Undecideds that seem to confirm that Bernie is losing or lacks support. If you are one of those Undecideds, please explain why you are still undecided. What exactly are you waiting for?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

and are just not taking sides to promote either remaining candidate--no dog in the fight, but still want to occasionally participate in the primary forum.

I got to vote for my choice.

Since she's no longer an option and I already voted, my only chore is to vote for whoever ends up as the nominee.

The loss of Warren and not happy about either candidate - their age and health issues. I feel like they both had their turn, and it’s time for the Warren kind of leadership. However, I also think they’re both great people who are a million times better than Trump.

I'm watching the national electorate because I no longer believe in the strategery of "rightness," no matter how much the objective facts of my candidates' records and words back that up.

I'll now send my money to Senate challengers.

My voter priorities are:
climate change,
the Supreme Court,

ending Citizens United,
ending big fossil $5 TRILLION/year subsidies and dominance,

any greening tax subsidies for states and individuals,
passing the ERA,

cutting faith based funding,
rebuilding national infrastructure,

rebuilding unions,
rebulding all human development institutions and professionals.

Second thing: you must not understand the power of the electorate at this point.

Remember how "the merits" of one candidate's campaign over the last four years have shifted the Democratic Party more left?

Remember how his opponent beat him in 10, maybe 11 states on SuperTuesday without even showing up in some of those states, certainly not having big ad buy or hardly any ground game?

So understand that in THIS election, reputation precedes one. For right now, the reality game show prez is out, and restoration of rule of law and order is what the electorate want.

Look at the battleground of MI. Tell me Dems don't have a shot there in the General. Understand that now is the time to make sure the general is honest. That's our only remaining problem.

Restore functioning govt with a more liberal Supreme Court, and progressives can launch from there in 2024.

imo

Biden and Sanders both have their pros and cons. My state doesn't vote for a while, we'll see what happens between now and then. That said, an endorsement from Warren would probably tilt the scales enough for me to go that way.

I do feel that either of them could beat Trump... though neither is a shoe-in.

Mar 2020

it's getting extremely tiresome to see these daily "when are you undecided people going to make a decision" posts. It's been explained over and over again the many reasons why people choose to remain undecided as far as this forum goes. When the primary nominee becomes clear this forum will go away and we will all support the nominee or we will not be posting on this site at all. That is all the answer that you need.
