Just Voted for Biden in the Mississippi Primary

They took my ID at one table and checked my registration and then asked me which primary I wanted to vote in. They had a stack of cards with "Democrat" written on them and another stack that read "Republican." I took my card over to the table to get my ballot and was told to sign the page and there were 162 names signed before mine. I live in an area that's majority black and all the poll workers were black. I'm guessing that most of the voters today were black, too, and a good many of them were also Biden supporters. Hopefully Biden will win my state today with a large majority. Maybe he'll even get all our delegates. I was the only voter in the polling place when I cast my vote, so I don't really expect voter turnout to be high in Mississippi. The ladies at the precinct said that it wasn't too bad, though.

4. I think the main things we want are sanity and civility.

Having Trump as President has just been so exhausting and aggravating, like a fly at a picnic, although much, much more offensive. The bar is pretty low now, so Joe Biden should have a good go at it as long as he can keep things on an even keel. At least he's a good man. Just about everybody knows that now, and he's such a contrast to Trump.

8. Yes, it's Peter Lorre, and I do love horror flicks.

I probably get more laughs out of B horror movies than most people get out of comedies. I have a twisted sense of humor, though. My favorite directors are David Lynch and John Waters. Most people don't recognize Peter Lorre or they think he's someone else. I think he was one of the great classic movie actors and he doesn't get enough recognition, so I have him as my avatar.

I liked the first "Dawn of the Dead" movie. I laughed in that one.

Btw, I think Biden will win your state (the polls have him with a very healthy lead), the way he won ours (TN) and the way he'll win my native state of NJ. The Joe-Man is on a winning streak. I'm really looking forward to tonight's results.

Michigan seems to be the big test. If Bernie doesn't win Michigan, I think he's probably done. I think Biden will win the rest of the primaries. I can't predict the North Dakota Caucus, though.
