Will he be gracious? Will he make the magnanimous gesture of supporting Biden. Will he encourage his supporters vote for Biden AND all the down ballot Dems. Will he tell them that electing Dems is the very best way to keep fighting to change the system, change our society?

Time will tell. I sure hope so.

He won't get any of them.

Especially now that his supporters all know it's over. There will be very little rushing to the polls for them. The blowout will be even worse with a depressed base.

He has to know that.

But Bernie is a narcissistic with a huge ego, so it would be a very big deal if he bows out. It is well outside his character, and it would be a defining moment for him - for the better.

If he chooses to keep fighting, he will be a spoiler and treated as such.

I think he's come to the realization that things are much different this time around especially losing big in Michigan, a state he won in 2016. I think he sees no road forward and considering his health issues, its not worth the risk.

I'm convinced he's dropping out.

I wouldn't be shocked if he announced he was dropping out but he went back to Vermont for the same reason Biden went to Philadelphia - they had no rallies to attend. Sanders was originally scheduled to speak in Ohio before they called off public events. Had they not asked to cancel large public events (from the governor), I doubt he goes back to Vermont.

My guess is that Sanders will say he's still in it and that there's still states left to vote and he's looking forward to debating Biden on who is best equipped to lead the party versus Trump.

I do not have a problem with him staying in, allowing a debate, and allowing more people to vote.

However, I was pretty offended last night when Rachel Maddow said something to the effect of that Biden cannot "go to war" with Bernie's supporters. I do not foresee Biden being anything but gracious. I think that the big elephant in the room for me is that many of Bernie's supporters seem absolutely hell bent on going scorched earth, and that we just had a weekend in which Bernie's prominent media supporters, amplified by some campaign surrogates, implied that Biden was senile and in hiding. Biden should reach out to Bernie's supporters, but I just think that the Krystal Balls and the Ryan Grimms were never honest brokers, and were always going to refuse to vote for anyone but Bernie, even if Elizabeth Warren was the nominee. I think that we are going to have to work with AOC, who at least seems to have better political instincts than most on Bernie's campaign staff.

He's giving his standard stump speech. Bernie's attitude toward the presidency is that if he can't have it, no one else on the Democratic side can either. Of course he's not a Democrat, so there's that, too.
