The real difference between Vice President Biden and Senator Sanders in one Tweet

Biden stood in front of a row of American flags when he addressed the country. B*rnie stood in front of a row of B*rnie signs.

ETA: I can't understand why women just don't like Sanders. I thought Democratic women absolutely adored male politicians who love to plaster their name on everyting.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

The people he's hired are making bad decisions, and that reflects badly on Bernie. Of course he didn't set the stage... he just showed up at the last minute to read some prepared remarks. --- But if the people he chooses to trust with such things are making these godawful decisions... that reflects poorly on his judgement as well.

Sanders could have built a coalition, assuming he had the skills to do so. However he has shown little evidence of having the skills to build a coalition and less evidence of being willing to work to gain the skills. He is a nag, not coalition builder. He acts if has perfect ideas--but he lacks any idea on how to makes "his" ideas reality.

Likewise, he could have joined the party and tried to move in in his direction. He, again, chose not to do so. (Again, he has shown little evidence of having either the skllls to change the party or the desire.)

What Sanders has shown a skill at and a desire to keep his name in the press. This photo illustrates that aspect of his shallow approach to politics.

One of these two men is addressing a problem and speaking to the nation about the problem. The other is reverting to "stump speech" talking points and is flanked with a background of campaign signs... thus making it about himself, rather than the nation and the problem at hand.

This is a very reasonable observation to make and it reveals much about the different styles and different priorities of each man and the philosophies of their campaign staff.

Now I know it's OBVIOUS that NEITHER Biden or Sanders was personally responsible for "set design" and how the flags/props were arranged. Obviously, those things were handled by their staffs. But this does give a clear insight as to the inner workings and mindset (and priorities) of the staff... and it also provides a big clue to the priorities of both candidates too.

After all, each candidate (presumably) had a hand in hiring or approving the hires and each candidate is only going to hire top staff who has similar priorities and values and ethics, right? In addition, over time, those staff members begin to learn what their boss likes/dislikes and what the boss expects/accepts/rejects. So it's very fair for the observer to look at these two "stage sets" ... contrast and compare... and come to some different conclusions that draw stark differences between the two men.

you really don't need to bring "trump's dry humping" into this.

This is about Biden giving a serious address to the Nation on the coronavirus and BS is campaigning with posters.

I and several of my friends like, respect, and admire Bernie. There are more "silvers for Sanders" than many might suspect.

I won't say more because I do not like being ridiculed and insulted. And if you think I am a newbie because of my low post count, I have been here since 2001. If Biden is the nominee, of course, I will vote for him.

Biden is better qualified to be president because he has more flags behind him?

This is the same bull shit that the Repugs trot out. Remember when they went ballistic because President Obama one time didn't wear that meaningless lapel flag.

This is nothing more than flag fetish.

This isn't complicated. It's a speech on a pandemic, not a stump speech or a campaign ad.

Perhaps they shouldn't, but optics matter to voters. Someone in his campaign should have figured this out.

BS & DJT seem that way. They and their followers claim both insist they are the one true answer.

EW and JB do not.

BS staying in the race only helps DJT and BS. It does nothing for the US.

Biden has been photographed in front of a bunch of Biden signs before and Bernie has had his picture taken by an American flag. Frankly, this is the kind of silliness Republicans come up with. I accept Joe has won the primary, but I don’t accept the silly my guy’s a patriot and your guy isn’t stuff.
