Now she has just weakened Democrats' criticism of republicans who really DO suppress the vote. If every time someone loses, they yell "voter suppression", it will just sound like whiny poor losers. Also she is basically saying that the DNC is no better than republicans.

Fox News is going to love this and will probably go back to it again and again. Clearly she is not ready for prime time. I hope she gets primaried before she does too much damage.

BTW, back in 2008 in Harlem (NYC) there were lines up to eight hours to vote. That too wasn't "voter suppression", it was a tidal wave of voting.

Long voter waits in Ann Arbor, East Lansing on eve of Michigan primary

College students flooding city clerk’s offices in Ann Arbor and East Lansing for absentee ballots and same-day registration were creating wait times of 30 minutes to an hour on the eve of Michigan's presidential primary election.

A day after Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders rallied more than 10,000 students on the University of Michigan campus and urged them to take their friends to the polls, clerk's offices in university cities experienced increased traffic. People were waiting in line for up to an hour Monday to request absentee ballots or register for the election, said Lisa Wondrash, a spokeswoman for the city of Ann Arbor.

She was specifically asked about young voter turnout in Ann Arbor, where Bernie had a huge rally. She responded that lines there were 3 hours long. Which by the way is an issue I suggest Michigan's Democratic governor tries to address before November, since college-aged voters heavily favored Hillary over Trump in 2016.

She never said the only reason Bernie is losing is voter suppression. In fact, she even said we need to do more to turn young voters out. What she said about voter suppression was in response to a specific question about turnout in Ann Arbor, where students did have to wait 3 hours to vote on Tuesday.

With a few exceptions early on when I got scotched.

But following her mentor she runs to Fox because their oxygen comes from threatening our party.

Here’s the deal. Most of America and most Democrats have distain for Bernie and AOC. They do not represent the average Democratic voter and hardly any voters in America. And their die hard supporters who threaten to not to vote for the Democratic candidate will never vote for them. Ever.
And never have.

It’s pretty obvious Biden is going to stay magnanimous but pretty much ignore them. His speech tonight tonight was a Presidential speech, not a primary speech.

So let them nip at his heels as he rolls Bernie in the Primary. We did not lose the Midwest on 16 because Bernie’s kids did not vote. They never do. We lost the Midwest because we lost blue collar white dudes who hated Hillary. Biden won them decisively in the Michigan primary.

Bring seen as the anti-socialist will help Biden more than anything he could do on his own.

Then we might have a chance to enact some Social Democrat policies into effect. Which Americans actually like. Because this DU member understands the difference between a Democratic Socialist and a Social Democrat. They are as different as apples and oranges.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

If she emphasized voter fraud then Fox News would rejoice and they'd play the clip constantly...only the segment they need...and refer to it without context.

I'm not much of a fan of hers, other than congressional questioning where she is very sharp. This seems like stupid phrasing but not something Fox can use. Their audience already delights in mocking her as representative of everything young and dangerous in the Democratic party.
