Sanders bets on Biden debate implosion--Will they never get over this disproven concept?

https://www.yahoo.com/news/sanders-bets-biden-debate-implosion-110013843.html

Virtually the entire Democratic presidential primary has been predicated on one underlying assumption: the eventual collapse of Joe Biden.

More than a dozen of his erstwhile opponents bet their campaigns on it, and he’s proven them all wrong. But his last serious opponent standing, Bernie Sanders, is still clinging to the same belief — and that it will finally happen on Sunday night, under the bright lights of their one-on-one debate.
***“I don’t know if you’ve seen Joe Biden lately, but he doesn’t like to be told he’s wrong,” said a Sanders adviser. “We’re going to take him on around the issues and make him defend his record. He’s deflected on those in earlier debates because there’s so much chatter happening on the stage. But when you’re one-on-one, you change the dynamic.”

So I guess the theory is that if you stick it in Joe's face, he is going to implode, sort of like how he handled some hecklers I guess. Bernie's advisors worry that Sanders won't go for the throat because he has a soft sj
pot for friends. They are also hoping the coronavirus pandemic will focus voters on the health care issue proposed by Sanders, but the outbreak so far has favored Biden it seems. At any rate they are hoping for a seismic shift and an improbable comeback.

Steady as it goes Joe. Keep the ship on course and avoid the shoals right and left.
It is not the awesome plume of the nuke, but the shock wave on the ground that brings the force to bear. Joe has the votes on the ground on Tuesday, he will win the debate!

He had his David and Goliath moment at the start of voting and flubbed it by being a sore winner. Then Joe took back the title and that's where it's going to stay no matter what happens tonight, and I imagine one of them will be on rudeness overdrive.

Joe Biden only has to remember two words: Representative Democracy

The way that Joe Biden was able to spend six terms in the Senate is that he was constantly checking with his regular voters and with Delaware leaders to find out what his constituents thought about each issue, and he voted in Congress accordingly. In other words, he represented his constituents. He voted in a way that represented the majority of his constituents. The only way for Democrats to get anything done is to be part of the majority, and the only way to be part of the majority is to win your districts and your states. The only way to do that with any consistency is to represent your constituents by voting along with the majority.

The majority of Biden's constituents as a Senator supported pretty nearly every one of his Senate votes, and the majority of Americans pretty much supported every one of the bills that Obama got passed. Joe was successful because he represented the people of Delaware, and then the people of America.

now that it's just one on one.

A lot of the 40 and unders near me have been influenced by Bernie bros who insist that Biden is senile. All they've seen are out of context video clips that make Biden look crazy.

My credibility is on the line, so I really hope Biden shows up in a huge way tonight.

Get plenty of sleep and knock him out, Joe!
