Ketanji Brown Jackson is a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. In 2016, she was reportedly interviewed as one of Barack Obama's potential nominees for the Supreme Court vacancy created by the death of Antonin Scalia. Wikipedia

A sitting judge or law professor/dean are the best bets and easiest to confirm

A few: Ketanji Brown Jackson, DC District Court

Mimi Wright - Minnesota District Court

Tanya Chutkan, DC District Court

Linda Parker, Michigan

Verna Williams, Dean of the University of Cincinnati College of Law

Renee Hutchins, Dean of the College of Law of the District of Columbia

There are many more possibilities ...

Tho she certainly would be a power as AG.

Which begs the question: who would Gov Newsom appoint to fill the Senate seat vacancy? We have some great prospects lined up, Swalwell among them.
