Biden/Harris - For one very important reason, campaign money.

Having a sitting VP from a money rich state like CA provides a pipeline for funding of the DNC, state, and congressional races for the next four years and possibly beyond.

The one-two-three punches of Harris (CA), Pelosi(CA), and Schumer(NY) mean that members will more than likely fall in line when push comes to shove for the important votes to come or face being cut off.

I know it sounds crass, but politics aint bean bag. And no, the Bernie method of only small donors only works for Bernie. No one else has shown that they can do it.

VPOUTS Harris can have tremendous influence across the nation. She can bring CA values nationwide.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

1. Not sure it would really make that much difference.

I don't think donors are going to decide whether or not to donate based on Harris being on the ticket. It's about beating Trump so I don't think it's going to matter who the VP is. Biden brought in $33m in the first half of March.

2. You're right. Won't make a difference to the presidential ticket at all.

But, think off year elections and other key state elections for governors, etc. The little known ones. A VP spends a lot of time fundraising.

Think about a VP Harris visiting CA in 2021 and 2022 to fundraise for House congressional seats, for a Dem candidate challenging an incumbent in a purple district in a little known district that doesn't get national attention.

And WTH are “CA” values?

Maybe some of don’t want CA values and are quite happy with their own value system.

5. Again. The VP is chief fundraiser for the party.

she clearly had not thought through when she had to back track on the getting rid of private healthcare. And there's also her Bussing attack on Joe. I like her but I don't think it is that clear cut.

Jr Senator to VP would be that big considering the experience of Joe. My thought for a VP would primarily centre on the enthusiasm they would bring to the ticket, and Kamala brought that at the start of her campaign, but fizzled out quickly.
