IDK what the DNC rules are on it, but most if not all of the states that scheduled their primaries for this late in the cycle have other elections scheduled the same day. The only reason to go this late in the cycle is to save money on holding a separate primary just for the presidential.

and other down ballot offices. I'll be voting in our primary whether or not the top spot is contested.
