No POTUS really wants a war. It is usually painfully or manipulatively forced upon them and they agonize for the rest of their lives.

Fortunately, the "War" people like Dick Cheney or John Bolton have never ran for POTUS. Those are the people who have no heart.

All the Democrats running for POTUS are unlikely to start a war. So as far as choosing between them, this issue doesn't help at all.
