Bernie Sanders, it's time to go

The results of the Saint Patrick’s Day primaries in Florida, Illinois and Arizona show that Joe Biden has a lead in delegates that cannot be overcome short of a miracle. We already have seen one miracle — the resurgence of Joe Biden. It’s not going to happen twice in the same presidential campaign.

After the Tuesday blowout, Biden has increased his delegate lead so that Sanders should recognize that he is just satisfying his ego by staying in the race and possibly irreparably hurting the Democratic Party.

Sanders was a major factor in Hillary Clinton losing to Trump. Bernie claims that Joe Biden is his friend and that they just differ on ideas. Well, now is the time to give up the ego contest, face up to reality and do the right thing by withdrawing from the race for president.

Sanders should not only get out but pledge to work for Biden and ask his supporters to do likewise.

Dolly Parton Pays Tribute to Late Friend Kenny Rogers: 'I Will Always Love You'

Dolly Parton took to social media on Saturday morning to emotionally pay tribute to her late friend and fellow country star, Kenny Rogers.

"You never know how much you love somebody until they’re gone," Parton captioned a video she posted to social media. "I’ve had so many wonderful years and wonderful times with my friend Kenny, but above all the music and the success I loved him as a wonderful man and a true friend. So you be safe with God and just know that I will always love you, dolly."

In the video, Parton sits at the piano, holding a framed picture of the pair that she displays in her home. "Well, I couldn't believe it when I got up this morning and turned on the TV...and they told me that my friend and singing partner Kenny Rogers had passed away," she says. "I know that we all know that Kenny's in a better place than we are today, but I'm sure that he's gonna be talking to God sometime today, if he ain't already, and he's gonna be asking him to spread some light on a bunch of this darkness going on here."

nation on it. Put together an advisory team of experts. Gave a press briefing just the other day.
Now talking by phone seven hours a day with governors and mayors throughout the country. Set out an excellent plan (summarized in his speech and outlined at his site). Starting by Monday will act as a shadow to Trump’s leadership, or rather lack of, through media interaction, streaming, events all from his home which has been completely fitted out for.

As fo4 me, I hope Sanders gets out. He gave a round table with musicians. This was after Biden, far more qualified and experienced in pandemic and medical matters than he, took up the global crisis.

Lyrics

When I am alone I sit and dream
And when I dream the words are missing
Yes I know that in a room so full of light
That all the light is missing
But I don't see you with me, with me
Close up the windows, bring the sun to my room
Through the door you've opened
Close inside of me the light you see
That you met in the darkness
Time to say goodbye
Horizons are never far
Would I have to find them alone
Without true light of my own with you
I will go on ships over seas
That I now know
No, they don't exist anymore
It's time to say goodbye
When you were so far away
I sit alone and dream of the horizon
Then I know that you are here with me, with me
Building bridges over land and sea
Shine a blinding light for you and me
To see, for us to be
Time to say goodbye
Horizons are never far
Would I have to find them alone
Without true light of my own with you
I will go on ships over seas
That I now know
No, they don't exist anymore
It's time to say goodbye
So with you I will go
On ships over seas
That I now know
No, they don't exist anymore
It's time to say goodbye
So with you I will go...

It looks divisive and self serving. It's time to be a uniter not a divider. Preserve dignity and help his followers to see the way forward to beat fat Nixon.

If he and Mr. Biden are truly "friends" I'd like to see them act like it. As is, I am not convinced.

It makes me sad for Senator Sanders and his followers. They're flirting with disaster. Time to get together and make a contract that leads the way toward victory.

As it stands now, I'm disappointed we're not more dedicated to unity against what is the worst existential threat to our democracy in my lifetime.

Link me to the fundraising sites and I'll make a donation.

Define "situation."

I never questioned his competence or his ability to be caring.

You words could be used as Exhibit A to provide proof that there's more dividing than uniting going on here.

They are exactly why I find things to be more contentious than arms open wide welcoming.

If you want to see the groups Senator Sanders is helping to raise money for, you can log on to "Our Revolution" and find the listing. He needs to do his job and if he doesn't very soon should be primaryed so Vermont can have a senator that represents them and not some revolution. I see Sanders only won Vermont by 51%. Joe Biden
