Where is Bernie?

Important legislative votes on Coronavirus relief for all Americans in the SENATE NOW, he is AWOL.

Why is he in Vermont and not Washington?

Would someone please explain this to me.

If it were me or you, we would have probably been more concerned about voting on the bill.

For Senator Sanders, a long list of reasons why we suck, why we can't think for ourselves, and how we are all pawns of the establishment is more important.

He also needs to eloquently tell us, in the native patois I share with him - Brooklynese - why we are stupid for not realizing that we should have voted for him, since he has a very good brain. That takes some concentration.

Five are republicans who are all self-quarantined: Gardner (R-CO), Lee (R-UT), Paul (R-KY), Romney (R-UT), and Scott (R-FL).

The sixth is Sanders, who is hosting an online rock concert.

Before anyone claims he's old and should take care of himself (that's already been posted a couple of times here), Dianne Feinstein voted this afternoon - she's a spry EIGHTY SIX years old!

A rock concert? People are dropping dead all around us. Healthcare professionals are falling ill. I posted tonight that per CNN: 1 in 10 sick in Italy are healthcare people. This will be us in 10 days.

Why is he not using the power of his voice to get us the equipment that we need? Why is he not putting the money he has amassed to purchase what we the people need? Why is he not attacking trump?

Harbor Freight Tools company donating protective supply items to hospitals with 24-hour emergency rooms

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Harbor Freight Tools announced Sunday they will be donating their entire supply of personal protective equipment items to hospitals with 24-hour emergency rooms in the communities served by their stores.
The company said they want to help front line hospitals with 24-hour emergency rooms with the following items: N95 masks, face shields and 5 and 7 mil Nitrile Gloves.

If you work at a hospital with a 24-hour emergency room in need of these items, please ask the office in charge of procurement at your hospital to click here so they can provide them with the information they will need to determine if we can make a donation, the company said.

Sun Mar 22, 2020, 08:20 PM
Mar 2020

He is no longer raising money for his campaign - he knows it's a useless task. He is at the end of his political life, but he wants to remain relevant.

His efforts in raising money for corona virus causes are in effect tantamount to conceding his primary loss. At the same time this gives Bernie a chance to preserve the "movement" as a social rather than a political one, while it also softens the punch in the gut he received in the recent primary races and one he is about to receive with the upcoming inevitable suspension of his campaign. It's a pretty smart move, actually, which allows Bernie to bow out gracefully and distract from the embarrassment of a failed presidential bid.

This move sort of takes care of Bernie, but the question is how well he can integrate his surrogates into this transition. I believe he lost control of them a while ago, and their entrenched militancy can ruin Bernie's legacy despite his best efforts.

We don't know if he checked in with our majority leader's office or not. We only needed 40 votes on this, and the fact the Repugnants, were short votes, meant he was technically unneeded tonight, if he had a fundraising event. I hope he has an agreement in place to move excess raised funds go to the party or a PAC for the general.

Meanwhile, his top paid campaign staffers continue their scorched-earth policy in an effort to kneecap Joe Biden... trying to weaken him and destroy his chances against Trump. The toxic accusations of being senile continue to ooze out of their pores. They're doing Trump's dirty work for him. They're weakening our party by creating divisions and resentment and distrust. They continue to dissuade voters from supporting the Democratic party with insinuations (and outright accusations) that the party is "corrupt" and that the election is "rigged" and that the DNC is intentionally disenfranchising college voters (which is total bullshit by the way, because the lines were for same-day registration, of those who couldn't even be bothered to register as a responsible person would do, the voting lines were moving smoothly, Brianna).

What I'm trying to say is this: The lies and smears and attacks only serve to create an atmosphere of negativity: Negativity generates apathy. Apathy discourages voter turnout. Low voter turnout gives Republicans a chance to steal the elections.
