Marquette poll: Biden leads Sanders by 28 in WI; Trump by 3

The last Marquette poll had Biden and Trump tied - so, he's made some improvements.

Sanders actually trails Trump in WI by two.

primary today, I would vote for:

If Trump wins it again we have to pick up at least one other state to replace it to win. Perhaps AZ or NC.

I remember talk of Hillary putting Arizona into play in 2016 because she was doing surprisingly well in the polls there.

In fact, from March, 2016 all the way through Ocrober, she led or tied Trump in 8 polls there.

I would not count on Arizona. It'll be a swing state but, like, say Michigan, it's one that still favors a certain party. It doesn't mean he can't win it, as Trump managed to take MI four years ago...just means it'll be very tough.

Hillary didn't lose here as badly as some people may think. AZ already has one Dem Senator and will likely have 2 next January. And we have more Dem House members than Pubbie ones.

McSally is one of the 10 most unpopular Senators and it's only gotten worse for her since the impeachment...

https://www.newsweek.com/gop-senator-susan-collins-replaces-mitch-mcconnell-senates-most-unpopular-member-poll-1482665

We rejected her in 2018 and Commander Kelly will likely make her a 2-time loser.

And a lot of folks in Arizona don't appreciate the way Drumpf treated McCain. AZ is surrounded by blue states (not counting all them conservative Mormons to the north) but methinks come November it'll blend right in on the electoral map.

and Iowa of course (my state). Are people really this stupid? We are seeing the worst executive performance in a crisis situation in history.

Here's how Bernie did actually did in vote totals percentages against Hillary in Wisconsin 2016

[link:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_Democratic_Party_presidential_primaries|]

Hillary..........Bernie
43.1%.........56.6%

Going from 56.6% vs 43.1% in 2016 to 34% vs 62% in 2020 represents a 22.6% drop for Bernie from 2016 and a 22.9% Increase for Joe over Hillary in 2016. That is a 45.5% swing in total. Biden is crushing Sanders compared to 2016.

Bernie not even holding on to his palefaces.

Biden seems to be building a coalition that is just as strong if not stronger than Obama's. Might be slightly lower in AA support (but not by much from the looks of things) and maybe a little less among younger voters but appears to be pulling in more older folks and white blue-collar middle class types.

Bodes well going forward, even if WI is still screwed up. There are maybe half a dozen other purple swing states that could easily step up and replace them if they don't come to their senses.
