Biden Called Trump To Tell Him What He Should Be Doing On The Coronavirus

As Trump fumbles his way through daily coronavirus briefings, former Vice President Joe Biden talked to Trump and gave him suggestions for handling the virus.

Biden Communications Director Kate Bedingfield tweeted:

VP Biden & President Trump had a good call. VP Biden shared several suggestions for actions the Admin. can take now to address the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and expressed his appreciation for the spirit of the American people in meeting the challenges facing the nation.

Trump appears to have not listened to a single word that was said as he held another coronavirus briefing to tell the country what a great job he thinks he’s doing. According to Trump, all of the governors are happy and think that he is doing a tremendous job.

It is no surprise that Trump refuse to listen to experts, or experienced politicians. Trump has said many times that he trusts his gut, and we all know how that trust has been repaid.

One measure of his sheer stupidity is that he thinks that his instincts are good. He is brilliant, and makes great decisions. It is the rest of the world that is out of step with him.

Trump probably only took the call in the first place so that if we hit +100,000 deaths he can then say "I was only doing what Biden suggested".

Saw one study last night that said our testing has been so pathetic that there may be 10 Americans already infected for every one that comes back positive. Right now there's around 400,000 confirmed cases, so that would put it around 4 million who now have the virus. If one assumes a 3 or 4% mortality rate...well, you can do the math.

Get ready for "it's all Joe's fault".

2. Joe could play Trump like a fiddle and really screw him if he wanted too. But that would be

screwing us too so he can't. All he would have to do is give Trump reasonable advice he got from the experts. Anything that could improve things and get us out of it as quickly as possible. By nature Trump could not do any of that. He'd have to react like a snotty little kid. The old, "you're not the boss of me, you can't tell me what to do!" He could not have his worshippers see him taking any direction from Joe.
