(10,143 posts)if he waits too long people will commit to other candidates. The wait and see strategy has not been real successful in the past.

(16,369 posts)Our presidential campaigns are comically too long. Absurd in every conceivable way. It speaks to how ludicrous it has become that were a year out from the first vote being cast and people are saying its too late.

(297,150 posts)Joe Biden taking his time. I like him because of what I saw of him during the Obama-Biden Admin.
He's not my candidate but I still wish him well.. I think he'll be great in the mix.

(11,911 posts)It's the official ceremony for the naming of the "Joseph R. Biden School of Public Policy and Administration". My son is a student worker who was called in to work the event. We were hoping that it would top off with an announcement of a 2020 campaign, but I don't think so. Son is hoping to actually meet him. Not sure if that will happen or not, but apparently the media is keeping a close eye on him because EVERY station seems to be represented.
I thought it would be a great time to announce since the orange shitgibbon is out of the country.

(92,136 posts)their positions, got the initial attention they wanted, so when he announces there will be no more of those distractions, and the attention will focus on him.
I don't think Sherrod Brown is running.
Biden has the most experience of any of our candidates, both in areas of foreign and domestic, and he is going to use that to his advantage.
