Thanks to Trump, violence against Dem politicians has now become a part of our politics

This is the result of letting Trump bulldoze our laws, norms, and customs. This is the result of our media thirsty for ratings. This is the result of the corporate class looking for gigantic corporate tax cuts.

Kanye West is being cancelled, and that is a GREAT THING.

So, when you hear people complain about "cancel culture" or being "woke", ask them shouldn't Kanye be cancelled? It's logically inconsistent to complain about being "woke" while at the same time praise the cancellation of Kanye.

Being "woke" in general, is a good thing for our society. It simply means being aware of, and sensitive to, each other's personal histories and struggles. It means being kind and understanding. It means being a better human being and member of society.

Imagine MTG and/or Boebert chairing a committee in the House

Or Matt Gaetz or Gohmert or Gym Jordan...

Let me stop. I'm going to be sick.

Prediction: If the Republicans win the House or Senate, the Fed will...

announce that they will slow their rate hikes because, magically, inflation will be under control. I guarantee it. Bookmark this post. I will donate $5 to DU if I'm wrong.

Why the Republican party is not being held accountable by the media

What exactly is the Republican party's plan for lowering inflation, esp. gas prices?
What exactly is the Republican party's stance on the war between Russia and Ukraine?
What exactly is the Republican party's position on a federal ban on abortion?
What exactly is the Republican party's position on 1/6?
What exactly is the Republican party's position on Trump's handling of Classified documents?

The media has not, does not, will not hold Republicans accountable on any of these issues at all. The only thing that the media does is say, "Look how high inflation is. This surely helps the Republicans". They say this without any larger contextual understanding as to why inflation is rising and that's it's a global phenomenon.

Here's why they do this. Their corporate bosses and shareholders want to stop Biden's agenda which has greatly benefitted the working class. From the child care tax credit to the student loan forgiveness to the leftward lean of young Democrats, the shareholder class is in fear of a Democratic party that is unapologetically pro working families and overall progressive. They want them stopped.

The shareholder class is more afraid of a popular progressive Democratic party than they are about Trump's cult members. Electing horrible Republicans to majority status in either, or both, chambers does this. Biden, and the Democrats agenda, all come to a screeching halt for two years until the 2024 elections.
